Dai Chef is one of Wales’ most celebrated culinary talents, with a career that spans the kitchens of the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and the USA. As Captain of the Welsh Culinary Olympic Team, Dai has represented his country on the world stage, winning medals and accolades at the Culinary World Cup, the European Cup, and the prestigious British Hot Kitchen Championships.
An Honouree Fellow of Glyndwr University for his services to the catering industry, Dai has also been awarded 3 Rosettes for culinary excellence. His skills have graced the House of Lords, international stages such as Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, and West End London theatres.
From intimate dinners for two to grand banquets for hundreds, Dai is renowned for his personal touch, creativity, and captivating presentation style. His clientele includes world superstars, ambassadors, members of the monarchy, prime ministers, and distinguished dignitaries.
When not in the kitchen, Dai’s achievements extend to adventure and service — as a former RNLI member and two-time competitor in the Celtic Challenge rowing race across the Irish Sea. Above all, he is a proud father to Dan, Megs, and Ellis.
